Ideal.
Are we doing Segment of the week again? I’d offer to help out but I still don’t really know the roads out here that we’ll!

I had to refit my rear mech completely this morning. Turns out the shop might not know how to fit the new ultergra rear mech! Currently midway through a tapa coffee run!

Open to shorter options if folks are tight for time.

I haven't ridden the Tak in ages.
Leaving Clubrooms 9AM
Unless anyone knows a better way to get to the Tak I was intending on heading over the bridge through Bon hill and along past Lennoxtown up the Tak and then along the back of the campsies (if there is the appetite for it we can head over the crow into a headwind) and then back via whatever route is best.

providing bike is back I'm in.

Same route once at the red smiddy but starts in Renfrew (although a lot will join along the route like in Bishoption to avoid some of the stop start stuff at the beginning plus miss out Bishy hill). A lot will take the Heggies short cut but there is a regroup at top of the Clune. No intermediate sprint and stuff like that but a sprint at the finish.
There are faster riders out so there are parts of the ride it can be really hard, but IME it is usually easier than a Thursday night.
Thanks jan. I might try and come along to a few of these to.
In in other news I was sure I passed a sign at about the red smiddy advising of road works starting yesterday. Not sure as it was raining pretty bad.

Wouldn’t be able to make tonight if it was but what’s the deal with this run Jan? Similar to the JWCC chainy?

Won’t be able to make the late start so will likely head out earlier but do the same route.

Just under 105 miles. Only 25 out. Great route but utterly exhausting. Peroni is helping though
Worthwhile day out.

With this out pouring I’d positive responses I’ll say I’m a confirmed definite attendee.

Not really! But then again yes!
Are there regular forrays over the water or is it a case of organizing your own attempt? -

30 Watts more than last chainy and 1 second slower! It’s windy folks.
*edit*
Strava did me over starting the segment on the way down and around the roundabout an not on the way up!
