Is there any talk of when hire will return Billy?
Not at the moment, it’s likely that will be the last thing to return

The track has now reopened and you have to do a reaccreditation , which will be a basic check of your track skills.
So what should you do before you attend, if you ride tubs check that the tub is still glued to the rim and the glue has not become brittle , test by trying to take the tub of the wheel, check that the tub is still attached to the lighter base part of the tub, inflate and check for cracks in the rubber , if looking iffy replace. If your tubs not glued you shouldn’t be riding on taped tubs so get them glued. For clinchers , check that they are holding air, and that the rubber has not cracked or perished , again if looking iffy replace .
After you have completed you first visit you will be able to book a coach lead session, there will be no drop in sessions for the next few months , this means that everybody will be doing the same thing during the session, plus numbers will be limited, these sessions will develop as numbers increase .

Any takers before I look elsewhere?

Ladies and gents, after discussion, I have decided that there will be a small re-arrangement to the confined event calendar.
The 2 x 25 mile TTs on Lochlibo Road on 6th and 13th July will be cancelled, and replaced by 2 x 10 mile TTs on the Westferry. The second of those (13th July) will be the Frank Lauder memorial 10. We will also change the Chocolate #8 to a 10 on the Westferry, so that there are 2 'warmup' 10s before the Frank Lauder.
I have posted an amended schedule.
Though I can’t ride any I do think not giving your club members the chance of getting a 25 before their own event and club championship is disappointing, the road is not as bad as it used to be and has always been a good test , and IMO much safer environment than the west ferry

Track opening delayed at least one week, due to Glasgow staying in Covid Level 3
-
Looks like more than probable that there will be a delay to the track opening, it’s likely to depend on the FM announcement on C19 levels for Glasgow at the end of the week but with current case numbers being high it looks like Glasgow staying in Level 3

Ginty would need to see it , but is the movement on a circular motion clock and anti clockwise or is it further and nearer the axle , is the cassette new or old , if old the carriers on the sprockets could be worn , is it torqued correctly? Is it the cassette that you had on when you damaged the last free hub.
And lastly you should buy Campagnolo 😜

I know SRAM cassettes fit onto Shimano freehubs, but i noticed on my Rival cassette that although the grooves on the sprockets line up with the splines om the cassette, they are not exactly the same, these onea have sort of a curved profile. Does anyone know if all SRAM cassettes are like this? It means that although they line up there is a bit of play in the fit..
There is always some play in the fit, because if it was tighter you would need a hammer to get it on and off

The Georgetown TT league starts Wednesday 19 th Entries are available through the Leagues FB page , get your entries in and the skin suit pressed, or in my case let out
-
Currently thinking on a positive note that travel corridors will be open before the end of the year , so thinking of going to Spain about 19 th November for a week of sun and bike rides prior to a winter of the Renfrew bunch coastal slaughter , this would be the delayed 2021 trip if your interested post , reason for 19th is cost .
I am planning a week but that doesn’t mean you have to stay the same length of time.
-
Actually I was in my conservatory and it was freezing and I had full winter kit , did enjoy the ride though
-
Think that was ok , re start you really can’t expect longer than 5 minutes sitting in a garage , it’s too cold so not sure what changes you can do to change that
-
That was fun , I think

I have to agree there is no point spending money on your equipment, and then buy a sail , your clothing can save you so much time , so if your looking for speed you have to buy a decent suit , I have a set of long CTT legal Shoe covers coming , think it will save me three seconds on my garden walk
