Enjoy Charlie can’t make this one as last TT league, won’t make next two as will be in Spain but after that will be up for a few before the weather turns

Six weeks in Spain and your not an extra small, you must have had too many Clara’s

I am approaching 6 months at the moment since I was last up and wondering if I need to book a session sooner rather than later ?

No it’s not currently enforced, however the track requires a different set of skills than road riding and I would suggest that you attend a DST or and some drop inns as the track is not very forgiven when we make mistakes

Hi George 

Second attempt at posting as first was removed , the initial point of this run was as a hard training ride not an easy club ride but a hard fast ride, where if you got a mechanical you were left if you got dropped you were left, Thursday in group 1 was too slow it wasn’t what it should have been until the last 3/4 miles , I am unlikely to ride in group two as I have no intention of doing an Apr type ride, the reasons for change was to improve safety making group 2 an APR will reduce safety , so back to my point what’s the point of a slow chain gang the answer nothing

I can only comment on run out to just after the top of Bishy hill , and second half of run, I thought it was a bit on and off , and slow in bits think there may be a need for three groups , don’t think all that started finished

You don’t need to practice sucking wheels you are the resident expert 

It should never be easy, it’s supposed to be a hard training ride, mind you that’s not the weakly blue way 

Think you have to increase the group size from 8 , as you won’t get any real recovery, 10 seconds at 27mph would be close to 100m so maybe shorten or just don’t accelerate through as you exit the roundabouts, are all groups riding back together?

What does this achieve imo it manages group size, if that makes it safer then it’s achieved it’s objective, however does it stop riders going through roundabouts in front of cars or on the wrong lane; no it doesn’t the same riders will do the same things because they don’t understand the risk 

Have to agree was on Greig’s wheel nearly all night , we don’t seem to understand smooth, we were all over the road at some of the roundabouts , was very very messy

Have you asked CTT for time keepers ? Your club should have numbers or be able to purchase numbers , you also have issues with putting signs on that road as it’s a major trunk road and you may require someone to do it for you , do you have enough Marshals?

I wouldn’t sell them with the tyres they are too soft, they are not UST marked but can be made tubeless with stand tape I think
