Until I got my Garmin, I used a Tesco HR monitor. It is a watch, which is not my favourite for on the bike, but at £20, you can't go wrong. I did also use a very expensive Polar watch before, but did not better/worse than the Tesco one.

Big thanks to Renfrewshire Council for granting us a road closure for Sunday's event. This means that all the Jets can race. We will need a couple of marshalls when the closure is in place. Looking forward to it. :banana :banana

It's a cracking event. Did it in 2011. The Dukes pass is timed. Good hilly TT. On a par with Tour of the Campsies.
