  1. Pair of brand new unused 105 Brake Calipers including blocks for sale. Yours for £20. Local collection/drop off around Renfrewshire area. Colin.
  2. Was going to try and come along on Tuesday however flat out at work and it was 18.30 by the time I left Edinburgh Personally with the pressure thats on at work at the moment I can't see myself making any of the rest of the 10's Might be an idea for others to state their intentions well ahead of time so that numbers can be ascertained and possible alternative arrangments made?????? Colin.
  3. As usual traffic (and work) permitting I will be there. Colin
  4. I plan to be there but as last week it is entirely dependant on traffic through Glasgow at the roadworks. Was planning to get out early for a quick spin tonight but didn't get in until 8 Probably just as well as it was at least dry when I eventually got out Colin
  5. Will try to make it along for this but it depends largely on the volume of traffic at the M8 roadworks Colin
  6. Is there anybody intending to do the normal club run leaving at 0930? Colin.
  7. Anybody up for an easy couple of hours on Sunday? Been off the bike (and work) for the last couple of weeks with a bad back and looking to ease myself back into the saddle Colin
  8. Was hoping to make it along for this (even though it would be my first race this year) but Tuesday night is my wee girls parents evening Still, it will give me 12 months to train for the next one. All the best to those taking part. Colin
  9. Kenny, I would be interested in doing the time trial but you have not noted the date. Could you let me know and arrange for my entry? BTW is being a member of the club enough or will a licence be required? Its been a long time since I entered an open race and if I remember rightly I need a licence Cheers Colin
  10. Need a little technical advice from those in the know As some of you will know from the Sunday Runs over the winter I have a Ridgeback that originally started life two years ago as a 24 speed (triple). I recently ditched the triple chainset in favour of a double but the rest of the group is now showing the ill effects of 2 winter seasons and a lack of time to properly clean the bike between rides. I'am therefore looking to purcahse a new 105 group and would like to get the 10spd. Basically I need to know what I need to do to convert. Obviously if I'am purchasing the whole group it should work together but will I need a new freehub? Colin
  11. I would be up for a XL. How do we go about paying for them? Colin.
  12. Unfortunately won't be able to make it along this Sunday. Something has come up that will mean I can only go out for about an hour. Hope the ride goes well and the expected weather does not transpire. Colin.
  13. WOW!!!! That looks like a big climb. Hopefully by the time I come back I will have developed into a mountain goat (NOT LIKELY!!!!). Thanks for that Scott. I will defo be taking the bike along now. Having showed the pics to the missus she is more than happy at the thought of me disappearing for a few hours each day. I think she is hoping that I get lost up a mountain never to return again. Colin.
  14. Having been persuaded by the missus that it would be a good idea to get away for some winter sun I have just booked us a week in Gran Canaria (Puerto Rico) from boxing day. If I can manage to smuggle my bike away with me I would be interested in any information that anyone may have as to routes/suitability etc. Colin.
