Only a week to go! Will anyone be about and willing to be a 'pusher offer' for me for the Kierin and Sprint on fri 11th and sat 12th? I'll pay the helpers ticket which means you get into the stands too. Also, I'm looking for someone to 'Walk the Line' for the Pursuit on Sun the 27th. It would involve either some previous experience or coming along for a practice tomorrow (Sunday) some time between 4 and 8, or next Sunday between 9 and 1. (Coach Billy?!) If anyone would like to come along it would be more than appreciated! ( and I'd buy you a pint or a hotdog too!) Al

Magic John, and I managed to cancel my order to America just before it shipped! When's the best time to get it, can you manage it tomorrow at the hill climb? I have the right chainset part, it's the same compact one, I'm easy either way as It's no use to either of us without the left crank! I could use it for a replacement once I wear out the teeth on the other one. What would you like for them, I can do money or are there any parts you need as I have a bit of an Aladdin's cave of weird and wonderful bike bits (now slightly depleted after building 2 bikes, chucking 2 out, rebuilding one, and fixing another this week!) What a fantastic day to be on a bike, great run and good company! Sunburn on the last weekend of September! Well over 4 1/2 hours by the time I got home, was falling asleep in the car on the way to the velodrome! Well deserved glass of wine and a bath now, if I can keep my eyes open

Extra Training Opportunities In anticipation of a very competitive Scottish Track Championships we are delighted to be able to offer additional training opportunities to our members. 29th September 5:00 to 9:00 Scottish Track Champs prep session for Senior and Youth - (David Daniel to coach) All riders welcome although priority will be given to those riding Championship events. 6th October 4:00 to 8:00 Scottish Track Champs preparation for Senior and Youth All riders welcome although priority will be given to those riding Championship events. 20th October 9:00 to 1:00 Scottish Track Champs prep session for Senior and Youth Focus on Pursuits and TTs - the starting gates will in operation to give some practice the next weeks pursuits and TT championships - as before all riders welcome but priority given to those riding Championship events. The cost will be £15 for Senior Riders and £5 for Junior and Youth Riders.
