Yes, good day had by all. There was a moment of grumpiness resulting from the torrential (is that exaggerating) rain from the ferry up to Tarzan (never seen Tarzan up there yet...) Dam. This was relieved by the parting clouds over the Otter Ferry and the lovely view up the water! Ardentinny was lovely, never having done it before! Campbell and Campbell and everyone else with second names for first names and actual first names were great company, and demonstrated amongst other things supreme pie eating skills (Campbell) and an aversion to riding at a steady pace (Campbell). Work that one out.... Thanks Kenny for organising!

Thank you all for your supportive messages and various lends and borrows that will make my race one to remember. My race is at 0640 on Friday 6th June and I will be up against only 28 others in my age group, but will race with a group of around 50 from the 30 -39 ages. At worst I will be 28th in my world age group! Kerry's race is on Sunday at 1pm and will probably be televised somewhere. See you all soon, Vicky

Although I can manage along tonight, a friend of mine from the triathlon club who only visits ocassionally from Orkney has asked if he can come along and ride the confined. He is called Torquil, so hopefully you will see him there. Another good night tonight with the weather hope you all do good times; I hope it holds out till tomorrow too!
