Hi folks
The Wanlockhead run mooted by George 👆 needs a good size bunch, which for various reasons we didn’t have.
So, some of us are headed out for some ferry fun instead. 8.30 sharp from Miller Street (9am sharp at Langbank) for the 10am Gourock ferry to Hunter’s Quay. From there to Colintrive, over to Bute, and ferry back to mainland. All welcome.
Hey Frank
hope this finds you well. Are you still keen to rejoin the club? It would be great to see you again. Why not join our Wednesday night social run - 6.30 from the clubrooms. Hope to see you out at some point soon.
Another nice Sunday bunch run. Thanks to all who joined us for the 55 mile run. Mark O; Kenny T; Colin; Tommy; Alan; Ian McT; Frank; Robbie, and myself. Nice cafe stop at the Dairy too.
May have sore legs on Sunday (big ride tomorrow and 2nd covid jag today) but, all being well, thinking of heading out Stewarton/Fenwick way. Perhaps up the A77 and the dams climb. Coffee in Stewarton.
9.30 at Miller Street if you’re interested.
Hi folks
Since no one else has posted a ride, I’ll be at the clubrooms at 9.30 for a local ride.
Unless someone wants to propose a route we can decide on the day.
Thanks to all who joined us for the sewing 🐝 .: Karen, Frank, Tommy, Robbie, Kenny, and Iain. Another cracking night with a good pace up the main climb, and up Darlek Hill.
Cheers
Thanks to all who made the sewing 🐝 tonight: Billy, Darryl, Robbie, Frank, Kenny, Davie, Eric, Iain , and Gary, briefly. Very enjoyable, and good to see faces old and new. Let’s keep this going.
Cheers
Just bumping this up the feed. Here are the details.
Every Thursday (starting this week 10th June) will see the return of our very popular ‘sewing bee’ ride. This is a brisk ride towards Stewarton, returning via Neilston. This is a ‘training ride’ but a bit more sedate than the Thursday Renfrew Bunch.
The emphasis will be on travelling efficiently and safely in a bunch. This run is aimed at established club riders and fit new members who would like a good bike workout with like minded folk. Rider safety will be paramount, and no one will be left behind.
The depart is 6.30 from the club rooms (6.35 at Morrison’s on the cycle track)
Thanks to all who joined us on the ride today. I think we all agreed it was a great first outing over the water, this year. Special shout out to new members Frank, Dom, and Geo.
Message from Drew Wilson: there is a photo shoot and ride with Pippa next Tuesday at 11am. All welcome. Would be good to get a few JWCC jerseys in the photos 😎
The venue is at Drew’s shop at Crow Rd, Lennoxtown, Glasgow G66 7GX
