I have just read on the SCU forum that a rider had his very expensive bike stolen at yesterdays development race.It is a Lemond,carbon/titanium with full dura-ace.I ask everyone to keep a look out and if spotted get onto the bloke on the SCU site.It is also a reminder that we must all be carefull with our prize posessions whilst out there.Oh,by the way don't report Black Bob,he rides one too!!!!!!!!!.

Alan a friend of mine who works out in a glasgow gym has joined a wee cycling club thingy within the gym made up of people who attend spin classes.Maybe this is an area the SCU or our club could exploit.Possibly a flyer dropped into the premises would help in attracting members.

I would prefer to take the short week,cheaper option.It does mean a bit of a sleepless night friday through saturday on the return but hey were gonna be knackered anyway after doin the five mountains the day before .Car hire wise I prefer the larger car option as I would like it if my KING was not scratched by Martin's Raleigh Chopper on a bike rack!!!!!!!!!!!. At 50 quid this might be a rather well attended event.I will be camping out overnight on thursday to make sure of my place so if anyone wants to join me feel free,bring a gun or a big stick as it's a wild place at night down there!.I do not have a printer at home so if someone would be kind enough to print out flight times and prices for B.A. it will give us valuable info.Any other travel options and prices should be discussed too.Shaz could you confirm dates for arrival and departure so that travel can be sorted,dont want to arrive a day late do we?!!.VIDEOS!!
