pete bennell
Guys, Just floating an idea - I have loads of training books etc (I've read them all, but didn't get any fitter - am I doing something wrong?)just sitting on the shelves at home. I thought that we could have a shelf in the Club rooms so members could borrow/refer to them. Any views on workability/donations etc? man5e
Pete, Good idea. Like you I have bought a number of cycling books in the past few years and a number on training. A few are excess of requirement and house space so a contribution would be in order. Maybe the problem is in reading them all. Its too easy to pick up good ideas from here there and anywhere. What you need is a framework to drop all these wee pearls of wisdom into something that feels right and works for you... I will be publishing these ideas in my upcoming book "Ian Manson Dispenses Cycling Pearls of Wisdom" it will be published by Fool Psycho books around September 2056. Make sure your at the front of the queue.

man5e
OH Yes, Yes Many, many illustrations of totally futile and irrelevant information will be included. But I cant say any more, it would spoil the surprise
pete bennell
Will it include all the down load info from your SRM cranks???????? Roll on 2056!!!! Pete
man5e
Eh thanks Pete so that should have read, futile, irrelevant and unintelligible And its a PowerTap Im not rich enough (though probably daft enough) to get the SRM's. Am trying to negotiate an advance for the book so watch that space. Have been trying to get hold of the co-owners of Fool Psycho, Mario and Chip O'Lini but they are out modelling or with models I cant get hold of them to confirm. KennyS
Maybe you could serialise the book on 'The Bunch'. This would surely give you the incentive to churn out the chapters.of course you would have to publish the chapters some months in arrears just in case we ever catch you
Hertz Van Rental
I've got about half a dozen books I could donate. Can somebody uplift them from Renfrew?

You can choose if you want to donate or just lend them - if the latter, make sure that you put your name on the inside cover. Thanks again, Pete
