2023 Subscriptions BoydJohnston Posted June 12, 2014 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted June 12, 2014 I'm in Liverpool this week-end. Forecast is looking ok for Sunday, so you should have a good run.
Stanley Accrington
Me too - nice route - but I'll peel off around Newton Mearns and head home from there. Here's hoping the forecast holds! See you Sunday. Mary
2023 Subscriptions KarenG Posted June 15, 2014 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted June 15, 2014 Nice, quiet roads today and next to no wind-great! Thanks very much to James, Mary and Graham for the company and particularly for the puncture help, inner tube and pump/ canister. Cheers guys :-)
2023 Subscriptions GrahamF Posted June 15, 2014 Author 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted June 15, 2014 Thanks to Mary, Karen and James for the company on this run, I did 80 miles all in so that will be 65 Miller St. to Miller St. a good days exercise. I'll not be out for the next 4 weeks so time for someone else to post a route or two!
Stanley Accrington
I had about the same on the clock by the time I got home - and my legs felt every one of them ! Thanks for posting the route Graham - good to be out again on a club run - and to all for waiting for me on the climbs. Mary P.S. Did anyone else have scorched arms and legs or were you too fast to catch the rays?

Speed may help in managing exposure to the rays, but I find a good dose of high factor sun cream before setting out is the best solution. :-)
