Guest EPCC
Mark Pace didn't go up as no real power / sprinters out this week
2023 Subscriptions AlanT Posted November 17, 2013 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted November 17, 2013 Pace was just fine, I thought. Might have been a bit quicker earlier, but it was a bit broken up by all the mechanicals.
Mark O
To paraphrase a very dear friend of mine, MacB " you weren't there fatty so keep your nose out" Â I think General Gunson was keeping a distinguish air of decorum at the front. A harsh, nae foolhardy, comment to suggest the General has no power. I'll look forward to him demanding satisfaction from you for calling into question his prowess at a date of his choosing MacB. Charlie, I'll ensure you get ringside for that one. Â Skinny x Darryl Gunson and Richie Cross
Richie Cross
No offence taken MacB Actually...as pace goes, that effort has elevated me to the dizzy heights of 8th/326 of that there particular Strava segment. One place above some William MacDonald geezer?? Â Darryl Gunson and Mark O
Mark O
Brill Ritchie - tea splattered laptop. Â Take that McB. The uzi totting copper sticks it to the desk driving fireman big time. In the words of Erchie MacPherson, OOOOFT!!!!! or was that woooosh. Â If Carlsberg did repostes.......... Â McCusker will have choked on his Sunday evening hob nob at that one. Guest EPCC
Can one say I don't always use strava and usually have to ride it all on my own But as Richie has accesses to sub machine guns well done Richie  Darryl Gunson
Mark O
No, you can't. Â Please refer to post at 8.26pm and reflect on whether you where there or not. The lack of regular use of strava is no defence McB. Public record shows you at #9 and Robocop at #8.
Guest EPCC
Anayway My argument was based on the quote that the pace was not increased from the usual four mile marker As I said earlier you lot are wimps
Mark O
MacB Â Your strava time got utterly obliterated by 'wimpy' Uzi Boy, ergo you have to fetch his refills and coffee all winter MacD(omestique). Richie Cross

Colin McPhee
After my mechanical mishap and a visit to halfords for a spanner I time trailed the rest of the way to Largs and arrived 3 mins after the rest of you. Found my legs to be a bit shredded after that so had to ease up on the climb a bit. Sorry to have missed the sprint but I'm still above most of you on the strava segment anyway (tailwind that day !) good run and good to see so many (including jets) out
Guest EPCC
Richie Normal service resumed on Largs sprint And I did the lead out from the forty could leave it after the slagging mark was giving me
Mark O
More of a gentle ribbing than full on pelters Billy. Mind you the effort you putvin last sunday for the sprint would have been good practice.
