Guest Ross Toole Posted July 7, 2013 Report Share Posted July 7, 2013 Out this morning and there was a big knock noise when I pushed a biggish gear up any gradient only happened on the down stroke of the drive side! Any suggestion, I'm hopping you will say new bearings cause I can cope with that! But if I need a new bike I can go with that too! If so it might be your sear post and clamp need released cleaned and retightened. I had the BB out of my bike and cleaned then changed only to eventually realizing the noise only happened when seated and was a creaky seat post.
