Beside Coulport and Kilcreggan. If you imagine standing at Western Ferries in Gourock and look straight across the Clyde, Dunoon would be 10 o'clock and Cove 2 o'clock. Main objective was to escort Ross to BB for breakfast. Harsh wind all the way down to Dalry and across to West Kilbride. Then the rain arrived for leaving the BB and heading up the coast. At one point it felt like mid-January. We fought thought the wind and rain to gain the tailwind after Gourock and then a fast entertaining spin up the Westferry. Back into the wind on the Georgetown Rd on a three up with Ross and Hugh. Some guys sleep in. Other guys just get on with it and let the legs do the talking.
