2023 Subscriptions iain couttie Posted July 22, 2012 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted July 22, 2012 Good run, I was at max most of the way, perhaps Billy can explain the difference between thurs and to day, only difference i can see is that thurs is shorter and starts a lot slower,2 weeks ago i got told to slow down at 18.5mph however today i dont think we went any less than 100mph. Thanks for a good run. Iain
Guest
That was a Thursday ride x2 with a scone & a cuppa flung in halfway round. Struggled all day then got hunger knock going up bishy hill. Not been that tired in a long time & had to watch the tour in bed, still in my cycling kit. See you next Sunday or Thursday, same thing really
Paul C
Legs not feeling too bad considering it was (for me) 86 miles at 19.6 mph average!! After a hot shower to get some heat back in my body I slumped on the sofa with a Grolsch recovery drink to watch TDF. Thanks to Paul & Mark for the tow back to LW. Committee Alan McLean Posted July 22, 2012 Committee Report Share Posted July 22, 2012 And a special mention to Darryl who made a dramatic entrance, gunning past us all at Barrmill, fully carbonised, after a solo TT catch up from Johnstone. Reverse route was a good idea and ensured bonkers tailwind up the coast.
2024 Subscriptions Darryl Gunson Posted July 23, 2012 2024 Subscriptions Report Share Posted July 23, 2012 Riding in France is OK but you can't beat a good hurl round the coast with the JWCC express. The raging wind and rain was a bonus. Legs feeling it a bit today
