Kay10ant
sounds good, was going to suggest a run to greenock on sunday to see the pretty boats if the weathers good, ice cream in largs sounding better. K x

John Malcolm
Greig Might join you however would have second thoughts about A78 A8 to Greenock on Sunday. With the Tall Ships their will be a lot of road closures and lanes closed and heavy traffic. The park and ride sites are Inverkip A78 and near Bishopton for A8. Lot of car drivers looking at boats and not whatever or whoever is on the road. Cheers John
2023 Subscriptions Elaine Muirhead Posted July 9, 2011 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted July 9, 2011 Hi guys  I am keen to join you but will turn about at Largs (bric session for me tomorrow so need to fit in a run also)! Are you heading down the cycle track to Kilbirnie? If so, I shall head towards Johnstone on the track and meet you along the way.  Looking forward to it  Elaine

2023 Subscriptions Elaine Muirhead Posted July 9, 2011 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted July 9, 2011 OK! I will leave the house at 9am too. I should meet you just before you get to Lochwinnoch. Â Elaine
Stanley Accrington
Sorry for lateness in posting - been away for a day or two - I would like to join you from the Clubhouse at 9am. To avoid the traffic/hazards referred to above, we could come back from Largs via West Kilbride/Dalry/Kilbirnie or Brisbane Glen/the Whinn or the Clune? Â Let's see what we think in the morning. Kay10ant
roads shouldn't be 2 bad. main drag has 1 lane open either way. a few road closures but should b passable. b good 2 c boats.
2023 Subscriptions ginty001 Posted July 9, 2011 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted July 9, 2011 Was out today down Greenock way, the main drag from Port G to Greenock was down to one lane for cars, the other lane was cordoned off for pedestrians, but completely empty, so great for bikes, shouldn't be a problem at all... Â Ian....

lancelogan
Sounds just like what myself and Ginty done on Saturday. Houston to Largs and back over the Brisbane glen. I forgot how much I like that climb. We had a great run until my saddle just about came off at Bishopton.
