2023 Subscriptions Ramsay Posted February 28, 2011 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted February 28, 2011 Had a cracking run over to the east yesterday. (Briefly met David T and Kenny C.) Over the Erskine bridge, up to Lennoxtown and over the crow, over the hill to Denny, Falkirk, Grangemouth and the Forth Road Bridge. Only headwind of the day was over the Forth Bridge, with the rest of the time being neutral or even a bit of a tail wind. 88 miles all in and an average of 18.9mph. lancelogan
Sounds like a great day out. I would have thought that was more than 88 miles as well. Chapeau.

GreigS
Well done Ramsay what was your max speed ?
2023 Subscriptions Ramsay Posted February 28, 2011 Author 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted February 28, 2011 Greig. Not sure what the max speed was. Probably only about 35ish. I was on the cross bike, so not as good at high speed descents as the road bike. Also, I was into a headwind on the descent from the top of the Crow! Oh yeah, I'm also a wimp at descending!! Cheers, R
