Anyway - an excellent chance to either ride or help out at a club promoted event. This race is open to all category riders and is handicapped to enable the field to range from first timers to seasoned racers. It is held on local roads at Beith and you too can join in at 10am on Sat 1st May. 40 riders signed up so far. Especially those who took responsibility for specific corners and driving, Elaine (Ramsay's good lady - Ramsay himself had the incredible misfortune to slash a tyre when warming up for the race) Mike the apparition who appears at every road race in W Scotland Tony C for his diligent duties Kev H for the second time this year (blue peter badge stuff) Jim D for too many incidental duties to mention and to ROBBIE and his chauffeur driver dad Darryl and of course the second driver Billy McMillan who was as frustrated at the second bunch not closing the final gap as if he was riding Big field appreciated your efforts. Surplus funds of about £50 will be donated to the next curry night at which all helpers would be very welcome. Results of race on Braveheart site.
