Sounds good... what’s the mileage (roughly)?

Never done the Tak before so very much up for this!! Summer bikes if dry?

Great ride today. Good strong bunch, never been up Glen Fruin at this time of year - it's great in the summer and I discovered it's just as good on crisp days like today (albeit without that wind lol). Good banter and decent cafe
Looking forward to next week already, hopefully the weather holds out for the drum up!

I'm in. Rowardennan route sounds interesting so I just plotted it (roughly) on Strava, works out 80 miles, lots of nice wee short sharp hills, although forecast is for a southerly wind so we'll have a headwind to deal with on the way back: https://www.strava.com/routes/16042217
But happy with Glen Fruin if majority decide to do that

Nice to see you & Gerard as we were headed down Brisbane Glen. 3 of us had just finished the Lyle Hill Climb event. A tough wee hill, but a good event. Hope to be out with you next week, if not then deffo the week after

Despite the rain, which I absolutely hate, today was decent. I couldn't decide whether or not I wanted to stop at BB as was wary my fingers and feet were going numb so figured it'd be best to head straight up the road before it got any worse. Sure enough my face started numbing up on the way back passed Kilbirnie as it seems the temperature got a degree or two colder at that point (I have a wee bit of nerve damage so this tends to happen when its cold and wet) so I could barely speak clearly . Was nice and dry after that though, but still bloody freezing! My feet were still numb in the bath
Roll on the drum up! Long range forecast looks OK, lets hope it stays like that
