The way my legs feel today I imagine I'll be off the back pretty quickly!

So most disc brake bikes will have a longer chainstay (thus longer wheelbase) to accommodate the disk. Cervelo have kept the geometry the same but spec'd an offset chainset to deal with the chain line.

Lost the rotor crankset (and oval rings) and the power meter/cadence so will probably invest in a set of PM pedals to replace them.

So bike is back. Damage to the seat stay is superficial (first scratch is always the worst init). Shop have replaced the chain and rear mech (with the new ultegra version no less) and put the originally spec'd crankset (FSA SLK Carbon) back on and its running sweet as a nut. Still have blisters on the soles of my feet from walking down the Glen Fruinn!

Stage 2 update> The first real stage gives a small indication of how the JW directeur sportif's teams will swap up for the sprint stages. Billy's shrewd secretion of Trentin (who incidentally I had and cut. Twice) puts him in the lead after the late attacker took the stage. Picking up British sprint Adam Blyth for a mere 6 points was a bargain! 62 points separate the top 4 with the trailing 3 waiting for the more mountainous stages to shake up the peloton and bring the GC contenders to the fore.

Not long home. Took the bike straight to the shop - they reckon the quick link has failed and thats dragged the mech round. Left it with them so we'll see. There is some damage to the inside of the seat stay but it might just be the paint work and not the actual carbon.

Anyone leaving from club rooms?

Any one got a link to a map for this route - toying with the idea of coming along or heading out to try some hill repeats.
