I managed to get a pass and get bike back (minus my wheel though 😕) so will be out tomorrow 😆 paul I can pick you up and stick the bikes in back of the car if you fancy a lift?
Me and Gregg O (wheeler in couriers clothing 😉) are heading to Aberfoyle round loch Catherine and home. 8.30 at bridge, 90 mile bridge to bridge. Lunch after 60ish miles, if anyone fancies it post up. Cheers
Well I never got entry into the nationals but on the bright side I can join you on the double Arran hopefully im feeling better by then as it's going to be a tough one
That's so depressing, only 2 points
Though I did take someone's kom along the Georgetown over a thousand rider's have attempted that famous stretch of road
Wouldn't miss this for the world, well miby the chance of riding the nationals , I have heard that there is limited places for cat 3 rider's so double Arran is looking promising, just need to sort my total lack of form out and destiny awaits
Just a bit of banter mark all in good fun.
Must say the changes made have been a great addition to the Thursday night run. Keeps us all honest and working and if enough numbers the apr after the clune was great fun.
Just out of interest, is there a green jersey award?
Stewards inquiry... we completed the same distance and only took parallel road under instruction due to road works, the full Clune was completed and without the head start others got, strava times show quite the gap lol
Not trying to make your job any harder jan. Just saying
