Alan I will come and timekeep if that helps...provided not a monsoon 🤽♂️
Thanks Dave, but I was not looking to ride tonight. Saving my legs for tomorrow night. Of course, if you want to take part, I’m happy to give you a time.
Decision at 17:30. -
Anyone else? Forecast is for damp, so could be a quick night.
2 riders is not enough for an event.

Yet another enforced departure from the published schedule, thanks to transerve for overrunning works on the A8, we come back to the Georgetown road for another in the chocolate series. 7.2 miles of lung bursting, muscle exhausting, heart pounding fun.
7:15 for 7:30 off, post up if you’re coming along. Bring your own performance enhancing additives. I shall timekeep.

3 riders on a hot summer’s evening, and against all expectations, quite a fast night.
Paul Coffey 18:49, PB, paid
Dave Ferguson, 18:44, PB, paid
Gerard Deeley, 17:48.
I have transferred £9 (£3 from a previous event) to the club account.
big well done to Dave and Paul on their PBS on a very warm evening, and the post event pint well down very well.

Anyone else?

Since the roadworks on the Westferry appear to be lasting until hell freezes over, we might as well get back onto the Georgetown for the next instalment of the chocolate series. 7.15 meet for 7.30 off, I will timekeep this week if we have at least three riders for the event.
Post up if you’re coming along.

I’m interested in a skin suit. The ordinary club onesie version will do me just fine.

Thanks Dave, but I’ve made other plans now.

The closure is still in place, so we won’t be riding the Westferry tonight. And, like I said, I need more than 2 riders to run the event.

Trying to keep this in the spirit of a whole club run, so the bunch should stay together, at least until people have bailed out

Hi folks, 9am at clubrooms and 9.40 at the Erskine Bridge (south side) for a jaunt across the water along through Helensburgh and past Faslane to Kilcreggan. Bail out options at Helensburgh or Glen Fruin (depending on who wants the miles). Suggest we keep the water on the left and we take on the Coulport climb after the cafe in Kilcreggan. Return via Glen Fruin or back the way we came - can discuss at cafe on the day. Circa 80 miles, 50-ish for Helensburgh, 60-ish for Glen Fruin.
See you Sunday

Only one rider so far. Any more takers?

Bit of a magical mystery venue this week. The Westferry roadworks were putting blacktop down this morning, so it could be Westferry for a conventional league of 10.
If the restrictions are still in place, we can either go to the Gateside circuit or stay with the hilly route. It will be 7:00 for 7:15 off.
Post up a preference so that I can make the call on Tuesday morning.
Either way, I can timekeep this week.

Nice night for a bike ride, only marginally spoiled by the uphill bits. Great run by Scott and well done to David and Paul on their PBs. Many thanks to Gerard for timekeeping.
I have transferred £18 to the club account.- Richard, Gerard Deeley and Scott M

Yeah, great, easy paced run this week, just what I needed, getting out and chilling. The rain wasn’t even that cold.
-
Hoping to get out.

Keeping it '10', just not on the Westferry.
We'll use the Langbank hilly route this week, meeting in Langbank near The Coast (formerly the Wheelhouse), 7.00 meet for 7.15 off.
Can I have volunteer to timekeep please.
Post up if you're coming along.

Thanks for timekeeping Dave. Hope the midgies weren’t too bad.
it was a beautiful night for a TT, good times everyone.I have transferred £6 to the club account.

Ok, bare minimum of riders achieved. Anyone for meeting at the clubrooms to cycle up to the course? Departing Miller Street no later than 6:15.
