Fantastic day. Colin and I left the rest to go on their merry way at tignabruiach the took the crossing to Otter Ferry, then C11 then back to dunoon. 165k in the bag when I got home at 3.30. Low point of day? Arriving otter ferry to find the Oyster Catcher closed. I thought Colin was gonnae kill me for taking an unnecessary descent on the C11 High Point of day? Owner of Oyster Catcher fills our water bottles anyway Wondering what time Mark, Charlie and Alan get home after their epic????

Colin that's a great proposal. So hopefully hook up with Billy at 7 am leaving Paisley for the ferry. Billy, where's the best place to hook up with you? Andy

Proposed run looks fantastic!! Without taking anything away from this great route (envy!!) I can't do such a long day but keen to get in reasonably brisk 60 to 70 miles maybe coastal with a Das Bagelhausen stop?

By the way. Helesburgh Half Marathon is on tomorrow. Usually starts 9.30 and heads up to protesters site before coming back on itself. Worth being aware of.

Great run and great route today (once I got three punctures out of way). Really enjoyable pace and craic too. Liked Billy's proposal of a couple of brisk flat rides over next couple of weeks. Andy

No worries Darryl When I got to the end of the road I couldn't see you guys so I turned back to the bottom of the bowfield. My legs were done on that final rise at the loch and sat back on the descent to eat some food. Loved the pace today. It felt tough at times but in a good way! Andy
