the rout at the start with the tunnel is sacolabra,it is 10/10, not the longest decent but well worth the trip. have done it twice and cant wait for the next,got my blood up just thinking about it ! iain

i must be the P in pedestrian today,my legs felt like they were turning ok, however this didnt seem to propell me as much as i would have thought, i have to admit that it did cross my mind to throw my bike off the erskine bridge, but it would probably be returned. much more training mid week required i think. depresed iain

i tried to join you today, was at the round about for 9 45 (red smiddy) but must have missed you,will try for next week.had a good ride round the local hills iain

good play in the woods,dark,soggy,slippy, what more could you want? is any one interested in making a regular night time xc ride,there are plenty local runs that should keep it varied iain

i did my acred 2 today,first time on the track and found it no problem, i was surprised when only a third of the group passed, so thanks billy for the training on fri nights,the training i got at bella was more concise than the track, i even saw guys with hands on the hoods(or where they should be).one guy got wiped out by a rider not cycling fast enough on the bank,lost traction and slid down the banking knocking the lower rider for six.he was down for a good ten min. it made me keep an eye on those above me. iain

ross call over about 5.30 that should give us plenty time to sort lights ect iain

i have my first ride at the track on tuesday,is it ok to wear club top and bib shorts, or do we go in disguise untill we can peddal. iain

wed is good , i can lend ross a bike,parkhill woods is good, or another route i have not used for a while but should be ok is on back lochwinnoch to kilmacolm road, there is a car park on the left heading towards kilmacolm, it is just before the right turn to barnbrock. i cycled this a few times last year and should be good for cx bikes.just say where you want to go. iain

good run legs still not there,thanks paul for the tow back on from west kilbride. on paint jobs i still think how uncanny it is that the two painted steel work figures going into bishopton are the exact colours of mark and ross,s bikes. iain

i have an old mtn bike that i am looking to get back on the road, the brakes look similar, are they likely to fit? as you can see i am not that tech minded. iain

phantom mud guard ripper of old johnstone town will be out, so no flats or he might strike again! iain

got a booking for level 2 on 6th of nov, otherwise long wait. iain

looks good,there is a mtn bike version which is 200 mls and is done in 24hrs! so lots of choice. iain

i did think of you as we were geting soaked on the road,we had it real hard, the bacon roles at the bb were not up to usual high standard,and you think you had it hard!!.The shakes are terrable so i do sympathise hugely, its nice to know we have proper hard men in the club. top marks. iain
