  2. 5 of us Boyd, Morna, Dave, Newbie Stevie and myself headed for Drymen lovely route going. Unfortunately had wee pile up Poor Morna and Boyd and myself Morna Boyd got this worst of the fall I managed to land on my feet and stand on poor Boyd's hand. Anyway got to cafe for a welcomed cup of tea. The other bunch came in to the cafe so nice to see all the guys. Our wee bunch left then the other bunch caught us up and cycled most of the way home together. 56 miles for Dave and me. Nice weather apart from the wind

  9. Hi, Morna and myself are meeting wee bit later when rain goes off 11. 30 at Amaretto to do 30 40 miles
  10. Group of six left clubrooms, Boyd, Paul, Anthony, Karen, Dave and Carol and picked up Ian just outside Bishopton. Rest of route as posted with no mishaps and coffee stop at Castle Semple cafe. Split up after cafe with Boyd,Ian,Paul and Dave heading along track to Kilburnie and then on through Beith and up past Beith Golf Club which is a bit of a pull. Greenacres and then down Bowfield hill. Thanks for the company and another dry day on the bike. Dave
  11. How about a tour of local villages on Sunday . Clubrooms 9am.. .Moss Rd to Smiddy, Bishopton, Ingliston, Gleddoch, Clune Brae to Auchenbothie Road back to Kilmacolm. to Phils Folly and over to Lochwinnoch. A bit lumpy but mostly quiet roads with options to change route. Please post up if coming out. Dave

How about a wee social night in Amaretto Bridge of Weir, about 7.30 for some drinks and chat regarding outings and day trips this year and to gauge who would be interested in a Majorca trip next year possibly April/May. Please post up if coming so I know how many people to book a table for Carol PS food can be order too
  13. Thanks to all today for the company and to Paul for taking us back the coast route. There is nothing to beat the views over the Firth of Clyde on a sunny day. Well done to Morna for sticking with it as her first run out with the Joansin for a while. More of same for next week please. Dave

  15. A recommended cafe stop within Eglington Park planned for this week. Meet Clubrooms, Miller Street 9am Route via Bowfield Hill, Rocky road after Greenacres, Hessilhead Rd to Barmill, left to Auchenmead Farmhouse and then straight through to Kilwinning and on into park for cafe. Can return via Blair Rd- Highfield. Approx 40miles. Please post if coming out Dave

  17. Weather looking dry this weekend so planning to head to Dairy for coffee stop and cheese jokes. Route : along track to Kilburnie, Glengarnock, Highfield, Auchentiber, Bloak Road to Dairy. Steady 30 miler pace and regroup at hills. Suitable for newbies and oldies. Can we meet at clubrooms at 9:15am and remember clocks go forward to BST. Dave
  18. Thanks to Alan T for organising and Ginty and Alan for shovin and timekeeping. A PB for me by over 2 minutes from last year on my butchers bike, so I must have been doing something right over the winter. Dave
