  1. I'm planning on calling by the club rooms on the way to the Time Trial and calling in at the cafe at Lochwinnoch afterwards. Including around 10 miles for the time trail, and depending on the route chosen after Lochwinnoch this should come in at about 30 miles. 9 o'clock at Miller St. if anyone would like to join me for a gentle 'warm up' run to the start of the TT. Graham.

Hi Mark, I'm happy to be a keyholder for the intermediate group, and to take my turns at opening up the club rooms. Graham.

I'll join you Boyd on the long run at intermediate pace, as you say hope there might be a few more to help us along.

    Testing Wedensday

See you at 6:30 on Wednesday Billy. Looking forward to the pain!!!
  6. I plan to be out for the 9:00 bunch, so long as the weather is no worse than last week!
  7. For those not doing the Paris Roubaix how about a little excursion locally: 13th April - Rivers Lochs and Glens 200km starting in Gourock http://www.aukweb.ne.../detail/14-169/ And then there is: 21st June - Katrine Kapers Revival 200km starting in Bridge of Weir http://www.aukweb.ne.../detail/14-204/

    Sunday Run

I will aim to meet you at Port Glasgow Tesco about 10:10. Graham.
  9. I don't plan on being out this week - to windy for me, but have a good run Ken....
  10. Just Ken and I appeared this morning, but we had a good run to Stewarton and tried out the Limegreen cafe there, it passed with flying colours - good coffee, wide choice of cakes, big comfy seats! Just 30 miles round trip from the club rooms, it was a bit soggy but didn't rain all the time :-) Hoping for a bigger turnout next week depending on the weather....
  11. I can make Sat. from 10 to 12, see you there.
  12. Who's up for a run this weekend, not been a 30 miler run posted for a couple of weeks but the weather looks like it will be tolerable so I plan to be out. I suggest a 9:30 start at Miller St. so as to be able to set off after sunrise, and decide on a route (and cafe stop) on the day. Graham.
  13. I hope to be out, but my reading of the forecast is that it will be frosty and foggy. If it is I'll give this week a miss, but if the weather is OK I'll be out.
  14. I've just looked out the window and am changing plan to have a lie in instead. Too frosty for me.....
  15. Anyone coming out for a slower / shorter run than the main bunch. Looks like a cold but sunny morning so a good day for a run..... 9 o'clock at Miller St. we can decide a route then based on who is there. Graham.
  16. Thanks for the run Ken, I had done 41 miles by the time I got home. A nice autumn run with sunshine and good company! Graham.
  17. Sorry I missed you, I got a puncture on the way to Miller St. So was running late but met up with the 30 mile group and had a good run with them. Hope you enjoyed the sunshine also!
  18. I plan to be out, hope to get in some miles and dodge some of the showers....

    CLUBROOMS

Jane and I will come and help on Monday 7:00.
  20. Thanks to Ken and Martin for the route this morning on a combined Intermediate & 30 Miler run with a bunch of 5. I recorded 37 miles door to door which was enough given the weather. Hoping for better weather next week! Graham.
  21. Sorry Billy, we can't do the 31st as we have a parents evening at school that night. Could do this Thursday 24th, but I think you would then have 5 people that night!!! Graham.
  22. Hi Billy, I've been having a look for a date that might suit for Jane and I to have the test. The dates you originally suggested are nearly all past now... We could do 24th but it looks like you already have 3 for that night, so would the 29th be any good - I see Carol and Dave have already suggested it so that might be 4 that day? Thanks, Graham.
  23. Hi Billy we can't make it next week, but by the time we saw your note we had already put the bikes on the car - we could come a bit later this evening if that would suit better. Will PM you our phone number. Graham.
