Yip great day for the bike - really enjoyed the first 30 miles after the legs woke up managed to repair puncture in about 5 mins just as I was adjusting to the well oiled machine which Mark is talking about Kept you all going with the leg warmer routine. Lesson learned for me - never eat bread rolls at the feed stop Never got going again but managed to work together with a couple of guys on the drag up to dalvern So pleased with my time overall wish I was heading to Italy now. Ok here come the excuses had to work late so lack of fuel on board led to a complete lack of energy after two miles however still a good workout and another Learning experience Colin

If you take a membership it does an estimate of your power ouput at different parts of the ride based on your weight and that of the bike don't ask me how it works but I have found it really useful. Oh and downside - I started off trying to whack down my times on certain climbs, but you really just knacker yourself for the rest of the ride. So now I just take each one as it comes and have a go at it legs feel good Colin
