Hi All,
I am going to go see Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix in the easter holidays.
This is a outline of my plans.
Thursday 1st April - Get ferry at Roysth to Zeebrugge a 1700 will arrive on the Friday at 1400. From there cycle to Ghent and stay there that night.
Saturday 3rd - Cycle down to Geraardsbergen and stay there on 3rd and 4th. Will watch Tour of Flanders on 4th at the Murr at Gerradsbergen ( cobbled hill up to a chapel and then head down the hill to town square where there is a big screen to see the finish)
Monday 5th - Cycle across country to Liege. Stay there 1 night.
Tuesday 6th - Cycle down to Bastogne along L -B -L route. Stay just across border in Wiltz in Luxembourg.
Wednesday 7th - Cycle up to Malmeny still on L -B - L route and stay there.
Thursday 8th - Cycle to Namur via Liege and Huy ( attempt Mur de Huy).
Friday 9th - Cycle from Namur to Mons
Saturday 10th - Cycle from Mons to Kortrijk
Sunday 11th - Cycle across border to Roubaix to watch finish of Paris-Roubaix in Roubaix velodrome. Cycle back to Kortrijk after race.
Monday 12th - Cycle up to Zeebrugge for ferry at 1800.
Going to stay in youth hostels along the way. You get breakfast at all accomodation. Total price will be about £230 for ferry and accomodation.
