  1. Thanks for flagging that one up Al, obliged. If only it were a case of a puncture ! Rather a puncture in form brought about by not doing nearly enough? Never mind, no excuses must try harder. Fair play to Iain for stacking in a pb days after knocking out a 100! Many hanks to Maryand Jan for timekeeping and fair play to those giving the Wesstferry a go for the first time.
  2. Thanks muchly to Mary and Ian for timing/setting off. Funny old night wind wise, nice to beat the rain. Good form from Iain to take the fastest time convincingly. Well done all, nice to see the continued support of club confined events. And a word for those who choose to forgo a ride in order than others can be timed.
  3. I wont make it along this week. Im off to London to see the Olympic road race. Enjoyed last weeks outing tho'
  4. Cheers to you Ian for turning out and offering yourself to the midges. Congrats on your PB Mary. Well done all.
  5. A double whammy. Ian Manson north bound on the A82 then Campbell on the B776 heading to the Bowfield. I type this sitting in my car awaiting the misery that is the club 25 in the wind and rain, joy.
  6. Well done to you Iain. Indeed well done all on what promised to be a good night, but in reality was very blustery on the way back. Thanks very much to Richard Di Montago for his fulfilment of a bargain agreed long ago, thanks for waiting for me too! Flying the now, you need to use that pace Richard! Many thanks to Mike too for his timekeeping duties, much appreciated.
  7. Many thanks to you, Ian and Richie. That's very kind of you to offer. I have since found a suitable saddle in my garage, (I knew it was there somewhere!) Thanks again.
  8. Im after a saddle, good nick, black, nothing too fancy. £10 max spend! Ta.
  9. What? Good lord Phil, you ok?
  10. Well done all! You wouldn't get me out in that weather! *doffs cap*
  11. Damn and blast. Fortune favours the brave Richie!
  12. Dammit, I thought the weather would have been rubbish. Curses! Glad you all had a good day.

    Photo's

Some absolutely cracking images in there Colin, fair play to you. I would put some restrictions on them though, or folk will pinch them! It was a good day out on the Sunday but it looks like you had the best of it on the Saturday, what about the midges? What lens were you using btw? P.S. Could I have the high res one of this? (I would like it as my desktop background )

  17. Despite a thorough search, I cannot find the details which will allow me to pay funds directly into the clubs account. Could someone please post these up, perhaps as a sticky for future reference? Many thanks indeed.
  18. Cheers for the feedback, it seems I will be sitting these events out again this year.
  19. Can anyone confirm that I am eligible to enter any SCU Championship events whilst holding a silver membership to British Cycling? Cheers.
