    Jim Daly

I didn't know Jim like most of the rest of the folks in the club. I do remember he was always smiling as long as his legs were spinning. Always wanting to up the pace on a club run and ready to pounce on anyone that went for a 30 sign. I was speechless yesterday, especially after being out with him on that infamous Thursday last week. RIP Jim.

Oh. I'm absolutely shocked. RIP Jim.
  3. Excellent run tonight. Apologies for not taking my turn, I felt like I was pulling a trailer for some reason. Thanks to Kenny C for the motivation on the dual carriageway, much appreciated.
  4. So, it all comes down to Greg's communication and observational skills. What's the verdict Greg?
  5. Ah, cheers Kenny. Wasn't sure if I was seeing things looking at the website. Sounds like a good plan. I think I'd be up for the middle distance if it's on the menu next year.

    SATURDAY/SUNDAY

Is this run happening on Sunday or was it today?
  11. Won't be able to make it this weekend after all.
  12. Interested. Does that mean there is accommodation also?
  13. Willie, Just tried sending you a PM but it says you have disabled PM reciept.
  14. Hi Folks, I've been up in Tongue for the past week and a bit, hence i've been quiet. I've had some amazing weather up here and i'm regretting the decision not to bring my bike, it would have been a distraction since i'm working as opposed to holidaying. Anyhoo, it's a beatiful quiet part of the country with great roads for cycling. there are quite a few route options. Most are on single track roads and are quite lumpy with either long drags or short sharpies. Would anyone be interested in a long weekend away some time in the summer? There are 2 hotels and a youth hostel in the village that we could stay in. Heres a link to wher it is: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?ie=UTF-8&hl=en&tab=wl
  15. James, there are plenty of bail out options if you find it too much. I might not do the whole thing tonight also.
  16. I might if the weather stays good.
  17. Darryl adding fuel to the will he/won't he race this year fire i see. Erm, back to topic, work permitting I'll come along.
  18. Super day out chaps & chapesses. Had a great laugh and met some friendly new faces.
