  1. Guys I hope to join you in the morning, don't wait if I'm not there as arrangements not clear yet ! PMcD
  2. I'll be there at 9, opposite wee shop, middle of Howwood. I'll be leaving Lochwinnoch 8.45 if you are going that route Ramsay. Merry Christmas everyone PMcD
  3. Yes, 9am Morrisons. I am tight for time so if you want to do coast I wouldn't have time for elevenses and would probably need to go up heely. If you are up for this it might be worth posting here so Jim knows where we are and we can text him if any change of plan in morning. PMcD
  4. Guten abend I can only manage an early schedule Wednesday - I'll go out about 8.30 but will keep an eye on the thread and maybe join you for a bit at 10.30. Guten nacht PMcD
  5. Well Matt you missed a Christmas cracker today. The 5 of us went round the coast via the Loch Thom route. In a phrase "As good as it gets" Climbing Loch Thom there was an incident where PMcD broke his chain, was it because, a) he activated his chain breaking device to escape the pain the immense power output as he tried to surge past Ramsay c) a crap chain ? Looking forward to Wednesday already. PMcD
  6. Ramsay 8.35 at cross? PMcD
  7. Evening chaps Yes Morrisons 9am, coast run preferred but option of bogs bunch meet up. PMcD
  8. Lucky beggar, hope the weather as good as last Wednesday I'm afraid last week was a bit of a one off for me so won't be joining you:-( ciao PMcD
  9. Chaps Fraid I'm having to do a short notice stand in tomorrow and cannot join you in the morning My new plan is to go out in the afternoon, joining the bogs bunch for part 2 of their run over to Newton Marns so may see you at cafe if you go there. PMcD
  10. Alan - No I didn't join the bogsters, the run round the coast left me not able to walk into the cafe. Jim - I suggest I meet you on the top road between Kilmacolm and Lochwinnoch ( both leave house at say 8.30am) and perhaps head over Loch Thom to Largs and up Heely if not too icy. If icy then maybe over to Stewarton or something. PMcD
  11. Gents Just in case anyone fancies 3 hours or so on Wed morning from 9am I have a unique opportunity and would welcome any company. PMcD
  12. Matt Sorry to hear about the bite but great to hear you've got a sense of humour about it. PMcD
  13. Pure dead brilliant by the way. McG, Jim D, Ian and me whipped round the coast to W Kilbride ( with the mandatory elevenses at Largs). Whilst cold the weather just couldn't be better. Should be up for same next week. Jelly legs
  14. Weather forecast is dry albeit cold early on. I plan to be there, PMcD
  15. Guys Jim and I had a thought (I know, a bit of a seismic event). Who would be up for meeting at Morrisons 9am on a Saturday, if enough there then head round coast or similar, if only a few then do a one hour loop to meet the bogs bunch coming out of Renfrew. Decision could be made on day but would obviously be useful to know in advance who might be there. After recovering from the magnitude of having this earth moving thought Jim and I put our names down for this Saturday (possibly with ski attachments on bikes) PMcD

    Overshoes

Jan I can recommend the neoprene, they're the best overshoes I've used. Can't comment on the luminite as not used them. cheers PMcD
  17. Scott Great to hear from you. Believe it or not we were speculating last night as to your current location. Curry was tasty and plentiful as ever. However no karaoke, which was fine as we had more chance to talk a lot of mince( uncurried) PMcD
  18. Nice report Alan. What you have humbly not mentioned is that you were able to cruise by us one handed to take the photos clearly a man in condition for the new year triathlon. Or that Darryl and Ramsay were cruising up the hills whilst engaging in idle chatter............................ looking forward to some genuine 'on the road shots' of snotters and grime.
  19. Guys n gals Ramsay and I are getting a train and will be will be at the Indian just before 7.30pm. cheers PMcD

  21. Ramsay Yes for meet at cross - can I suggest 8.35/40 so as we don't wait around too long at clubrooms getting cold. PMcD
