Richie Cross
Hi folks, Sorry to start a new thread but it's just to assist in my decision making! I'm telling myself I'll chose PR over La Marmotte next year but realised I better find out if anyone else is planning for PR as I wouldn't go on my own! Also...do we have Marmotte veterans among us? I'm aware it's pretty hard or is it really hard? I've been up all the climbs apart from the Galibier but not in one go. What's the minimum amount of training you can get away with to avoid being stopped? As I can't guarantee xxx miles, I'd like a clue as to if its even worth thinking about it? 2023 Subscriptions XXX Posted July 28, 2016 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted July 28, 2016 Richie You could do this with minimal training focus on hard vo2 intervals indoor and some endurance rides sorted
2023 Subscriptions George Posted July 28, 2016 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted July 28, 2016 All that is required is my bravado & a set of cojones.. One notes that the DA chasers refuse to engage. Be assured that Billy & El Bison will be there & be awesome. I am inspired & will be an annoying irresistible force for the next 12 months Mange Tout x Richie Cross and Tom Hill
