Fellow riders,

Anyone up for a blast round Glengarnock starting this thursday evening 7pm?

Glasgow rd club guys??

Fullarton wheelers guys??

Anyone else from other clubs??

Start thursday evening then every tuesday thursday night after.

come on get down and Get a bunch going.

Meeting point at johnstone 18:20 at Milbrae traffic lights at bike track, should be enough time to get down to Glengarnock for 7pm to do a few laps.

For the ones that dont know glengarnock industrial estate loop is about 1.2 miles per lap.

Quite flat with a wee drag but will feel like an alpe after 20 laps ;-)

Cheers,

Ironman

No it wasnt hard just uncomfortable but prefer it to the ice conditions. :-P

My route on the way back takes me just under an hour to get back home but being slowed down by the wind it took much longer.

Better get used to it as im sure its going to be hanging about for quite sometime.

Dougie

It was the flat speed of 11 mph at full pelt as the stronger gusts cam in that got me. Just to cheer you up I looks like it will be this for the rest of the week. It only took me a extra 10 minutes on my 13.5 mile run but it felt like more, good work out. :angryfire

But it was fast stuff this morning cruising 25 mph down the Sheildhall road this morning for me so cant complain. Oh ya dancer !

Yes Dougie ,

I agree also - Normally i have a wee circuit i do en route back from work.

However due to the high winds i cut the run short and headed straight home!

Last time i used the 39 x 27 was up alpw d'huez - did not think i was ever going to use it down the George tn! :-o

This morning was superb 55x11 tail wind -
