Life Members chung Posted February 23, 2015 Life Members Report Share Posted February 23, 2015 We did this event as a "club run" 2 years in a row when it first started in 2006 & then in 2007. It's a fantastic route! The Bealach climb it self is the closest thing to be an Alpine climb can be in the UK, with long constant upward gradient and stunning view (if weather was decent) looking towards Skye. But be warn, the part between Applecross & Shieldaig is hard (if not harder) too especially if its windy (which I assume always is). However, this is a great ride and I would love to ride it again if I had the chance! Enjoy, chaps!
