2023 Subscriptions P McDonald Posted July 31, 2013 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted July 31, 2013 Did the E,1,2,3 race between the roundabouts on the A77 tonight. Looked like a full field. Got very wet. Got a very good workout. Got surprised that I only got a bit of a kicking and not a pure booting.15 or so broke away after about 20 miles and held a 30 sec gap to the finish. Bunch split and reformed a few times. Ended with bunch all together. I was mid bunch. Average speed for the 36 miles was 26.95 mph. 2023 Subscriptions P McDonald Posted August 1, 2013 Author 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted August 1, 2013 Billy, course is as easy as you'll get for a road race, gentle rise one way, gentle descent other. Roundabouts taken very slow last night due to rain. Not much wind last night, this course becomes a different story when wind is blowing as it is so exposed.
