AllanM Posted March 29, 2013 Report Share Posted March 29, 2013 Enjoyed the run today guys, at least as much as I could manage! Charlie & Billy’s efforts from Inverkip leading us to Largs was impressive as was the disdain they showed to their fellow riders who rather sheepishly sprinted past them at the end. I knew in the café that I’d struggle to keep to the pace on the way back and the plan to speed up to West Kilbride sounded ambitious. When I’d lost the last wheel before Hunterston I decided to head over Fairley Moor. The combination of a steep hill and headwind allowed me to go at a suitably slow pace without feeling too bad about myself! I understand from McGinty that Charlie came back to look for me.
