2023 Subscriptions P McDonald Posted September 26, 2012 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted September 26, 2012 Been missing ma bike since Rothesay so planned a wee sortie on Saturday as a warmer for hill climb, thought I'd post a couple of options to see if anyone interested, 1) bagel basket via loch Thom 2) cyclo cross frolics at muirshiel of gleniffer braes with an eye to maybe racing at Falkirk next week ( I've decided that the 10 days since rothesay is long enough for an off season )

2023 Subscriptions David Thomson Posted September 28, 2012 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted September 28, 2012 Paul, I'm going to bail out. Sorry leaving it till the last minute. Lower back is killing me, not used to riding with the extra weight yet. Just going to go for a very easy spin tomorrow. Hope you and possibly Davie have fun. 2023 Subscriptions P McDonald Posted September 29, 2012 Author 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted September 29, 2012 Well the answer to the question re trails is clear, the paths and fields up the braes are absolutely excellent for cylo and mountain biking. Right on ma doorstep and didn't know about it. Great morning thanks to Iain for introducing us to it. A splendid alternative to plugging round the coast road in the pi$$ing rain.
