Strange run this morning

left clubrooms with Davies W &R , Ian Simmet  , Greg , Malcolm and Sarah. Cold but dry conditions with no wind Oh ya dancer !

We headed up thru Kilbarchan onto back road to Lochwinnoch , taking a right onto an uncharted road leading to Clochoderick stone ( not the easy one ,the mega pave climb Oh ya dancer ! )

Over past Cochoderick stone and back onto back road toLochwinnoch.

Fast descent Oh ya dancer ! and then a regroupment.

Up past RSPB centre and a right into midge alley, at this point Malcolm and Sarah opted to turn for home.

No sooner had they left when Davie R suffering from a tummy upset decide to call it a day also. Ian Simmet saw an opening for a cafe stop ;-) and volunteered to escort Davie home.

So it was left to the 3 amigos to soldier on

The bridge at end of alley was under repair and the road had been dug up leaving 200m of the worst pave encontered since the track to Loch Thom.

Oh ya dancer !Oh ya dancer ! superb stuff , followed by a hors cat. pave climb into Beith.

From Beith we headed to Gateside then over to Barrmill for a circuit round RNAD before dropping into Burnhouse and climb up to Dunlop.

Dunlop then back roads between Lugton/Uplawmoor for a few miles before dropping into Lugton and along peesweep road to spit at the scout camp.

Superb run in glorious weather , the views of Arran and Argyle were stunning 8-)

Loads of pave , some nippy wee climbs and sore legs all round Oh ya dancer !

Away to Skye next weekend , hope to see more riders out in 2 weeks time.
