Paul

I got prematurely dumped in RR today and will now race tomorrow.

Probably, more conservatively.

Alan/Duncan

With such an early start, you have time for your cafe run and then get yourselves up to Balfron for an 11am start in the old folks race.

Report from Balfron - the bits that I know. 2 seperate races on the day.

Over 40's

1 - Chris Thompson

2 - Ali Watt

3 - Graham Cockburn

4- Me

Bunch including J Daly finished a minute or two back.

I got in a break of 5 early doors which stayed away till the end losing one with about 20 to go. From 15 to go I knew I was riding for 4th as the other 3 were significantly stronger and it was an uphill finish. However, better to bury yourself and get 4th rather than go back through the bunch like a dose of proverbial salts !!

Over 50's and ladies

1 - Graham Barclay

2 - Lady from Edinburgh

3 - Davy Lang
