Guest Jim Daly
I think Kenny Steele must have prepared this for you: http://www.mapmyride.com/route/france/embrun/1101486036 To limit the ride to within 30miles, start at km 80, St Jean de Maurienne... Members Kenny MacDonald
A magical mystery tour of Renfrewshires finest backroads along with Davie R , John J and Charlie. Extreme pave and some excellent coo sh*t covered roads , just what a Sunday is made for Only sad point was the complete and utter destruction of 2 of my fave pave climbs they are now as smooth as a babys bum I will leave the bard "Raymond " to wax lyrical about the run , even if he hadnt a clue where he was most of the day
Guest DavieR
The day was sunny, warm and bright, surprising after such a terrible night. Johnny, Charlie, me and Mac, started doon the cycle track. We departed at Howood, and turned right. Oor first hill gave ma legs such a fright. I've been off for a fortnight wi the cold, so following MacDonald was awfy bold. All the great climbs I cannay boast, 'cos I spent most o the day, totally loast. We passed through Beith, I remember that it was the only wee bit where the road wis flat! We appeared at Greenacres, and doon the hill in the tuck position, oh whit a thrill. Along the road, bound for Miller Street. we dropped off Kenny, "see ya next week."
