Dave Wolfe
Anything on this Sunday? I am back in Scotland for a few weeks and am keen to catch up with some of the ol' faces from when I was in the club. Are you meeting at the club rooms 0930 these days? Dougie Da Rosa
Not too sure as yet,but most welcome along, there is always a shorter route home for tired legs or if your tight for time.
2023 Subscriptions martin Posted August 12, 2007 2023 Subscriptions Report Share Posted August 12, 2007 Hey Dougie if you're still unsure of today's route you can get a reminder here. http://www.mapmyride.com/ride/united-kingdom/paisley/712475843 (this is from the cheap alternative to GPS systems - since they're not selling them in Hyperdales yet I'll be using this for the forseeable future) BTW it says we did 1682 feet of climbing but only 1670 feet of descent. I knew I was being cheated somehow...) cheers M
Dougie Da Rosa
A fine ride today to break me back in,not too many climbs, kind weather and great company, all the ingredients of a good day out.Good to see old friends and new, great to hear Sarah swear at me again!!,and Melbourne Dave,as hard as we tried we couldn't lose him on the back roads, wait till the Bealach mate......till next time
Dave Wolfe
Have to agree with you there Dougie, a very enjoyable ride indeed! Brought back fond memories of; having to stay in touch or be lost in the maze of Ayrshire backroads, having sore legs from those short sharp climbs and sore ribs from laughing at 'the banter' . Thanks to all, look forward to next time.
