Members Kenny MacDonald
Kayleigh Brogan (Evans Cycles) became the first Scot to win a medal at the British Junior and Youth Championships in Newport on the final day of competition. The former Johnstone Wheelers rider performed well throughout the day, finishing third in all three events, the pursuit, sprint and time trial to secure the bronze in the Under 14 girls Omnium. Well done Kayleigh

Jim B
Guys, Kayleigh isn't here to reply to your postings as she left to race a few cobbled Kermesses in Belgium with the Braveheart squad immediately after the Track Champs. However I can tell you that the racing was pretty challenging with the three top girls posting times which were faster than the majority of the male riders and also a good few of the under 16 females into the bargain !!! She is delighted with her medal and I am sure she will appreciate your kind comments on reading the bunch when she gets back home. Hope to get some time to get out this winter again so see you then. Cheers Jim B
