Four set out yesterday, Boyd, Richie Carol &  Dave. Good run with an unintentional farm watch tour around the rear of the RNAD at Beith.
Teas, coffees and scones under the sun canopy at Dalgarven Mill and homeward bound as the temperature kept rising. Stopped off at Castle Semple for a cold drink and home for 45miles. Thanks for the company guys. Dave

Seven set off this morning, Bill, Anthony, Boyd, Graham, Ken (flying visit) Dave & Carol. Extended advertised route to Kilmaurs and cafe stop at Rendezvous cafe which is most accommodating for cyclists. Good quick and friendly service and offer to fill water bottles on departure. Bill had a rare puncture before Kilmaurs. Last one was just after the war. Left cafe refreshed and took farm roads to Auchentiber, Barmill and back down Bowfield hill. Good run in good company and dry weather. Dave

I paid £78 for mines at the start of the year and have been satisfied with it. When I get back from a ride and connect it to my laptop, it automatically uploads the data and syncs with Strava & Endomondo. I had no issues using my phone, but find this more convenient - especially on rainy rides.

Recently I've been keen to capture my HR and I don't think it's possible with this. I also can't add photos taken on Strava runs to the ride detail when it's been uploaded from the Garmin.

PS - Is your old man's name also Chris? (I'm thinking ATC from 2001/2002)

How about going through Houston via track and Crosslee road then West glen road which is hilly and then dropping into Kilmacolm. then back to Bridge of Weir
via Torr road and if we want to stop at Amaretto cafe we could or carry on to Houston and go into Houston Inn  Roughly about 20 miles just an idea but if anyone
else has another route that's fine.

Just checking in if we are on for a run this Wednesday? I'd originally planned to be travelling with work this week, but that has since been cancelled.

    Hello all,

Chris here from Paisley, originally from Beith.

Last year done approx 1,000-1,500 miles on my hybrid and will soon (Tomorrow) be picking up my first road bike.

Interested in joining you guys but concerned I'm not fit enough - may try the next 30 miler that pops up.  Last year done the Pedal 4 Scotland 47 miler leaving from the house - total of around 58 miles and felt like I could have went on.

Looking forward to meeting some of you guys and hopefully becoming a member of the club.

    Regards,
    Chris.
