Hi All, Just thought I would drop a post to see if anyone is out this evening? I am planning on trying to get a few miles in tonight and if there a JWCC ride tonight? If not then I will be heading out from Renfrew (5:40ish) and down Georgetown Road towards Houston about 6pm and then probably off up through West Glen Road (blimey I am getting to know this placee...lol). Enjoyed it, good to get out on new routes (for me) and good a good crack with you all. So thanks and look forward to next time. I hit the wall towards the end and the last 5 miles on me jack jones was fun! James, I thought you rode well and like Mark says a winter packed with steady miles will pay dividends for next year.

I was a bit early last night and because it started to rain headed out on my own to do the 'Renfrew Bunch' loop (incl short cut up Clune), it was wet but pleased that I kept up a reasonable pace on my jack jones. I struggled with tired legs to keep in touch on the way out of Bishopton! Elastic band snapped and that was me away out the back.... Absolutely amazing turnout though, there must have been over 40 riders!

Glad I joined you all, it was an excellent turnout. Thanks very much for the friendly welcome and will definitely join the chain gang again when I am in Renfrew. I just need to get some fitness back so i am not constantly chewing the handlebars pic from the back!
