  3. I take it you're doing a 5 hour turbo then? 1x blender 1x a very dark place 1x angels 1x revolver
  4. Was starting to worry about participating in a collective number 2. Das Bagelhausen seems like an ideal winter alternative! Andy

    Good luck chaps! Andy
  6. Seems like the wise option for roads and escape routes. See you at club rooms 9.00 am Andy
  7. That'll be turbo for me then Boo! Down with snow!
  8. Thanks all I'm hoping I'll learn some lessons and apply them Saturday, especially managing adrenalin, tucking myself in and being a bit smarter about positioning and energy consumption. All really valuable. Very chuffed Davie is making it too and with a bit of luck Colin will get a wee spot as well! Does anyone know of a map of the route? I don't know the roads well enough Charlie! Andy
  9. Although my preference would be also 3-2-1 looking at the weather forecast I suspect the Dunoon loop might be a step too far at this time of year in these conditions. So my vote in this weeks Main Bunch Conclave would be 2-3-1 Andy
  10. Double crikey. Group 2 with Davie B. I'm a dead man!
  11. Who out? Where to? What speed? Andy
  12. Cracking day with some good miles. Fast on the flat and a couple of decent climbs too. Brisbane Glen is a great route! Glad you made it home Ross. You're still suffering from last weeks lurgy. Looking forward to next Sunday. What's the plan? Andy
  13. As you slide down the banister of life, may the splinters never point in the wrong direction Happy St Paddy's day
  14. Nice! Turn right at Auchintiber? Post BB up the Clune, turn right again at Kilmacolm to Lochwinnoch? Andy
  15. I was looking at weather this morning and weather looks distinctly dodgy on Saturday and given temperatures there is likely to be much residue on Sunday. Transmitter Hill in those conditions likely to share aspects of grimness that only east Ayrshire can deliver. It's St Paddy's day in Sunday so why don't we celebrate with a bagel (I know I'm not just speaking for myself here)? Don Smith, nice fast road, with bagel? Andy
  16. Oh crikey, application for Fenwick APR accepted Andy
  17. Colin McPhee JWCC restricted gear TT champion 2013. It's all over Facebook and twitter! Well deserved Colin. Your form this year has been brilliant! Well done to all turning out in such horrid conditions too! Andy
  18. I won't make the TT today. Hope it goes well folks Andy
  19. Crosshill start sounds excellent Paul! Shall we agree meeting time? Crosshill is south east of Maybole about an hour from Millar st. Can I suggest for starters an 8.30 meet at Miller St for cars and lifts etc? Andy
  20. Davie This is a good proposal and happy to second it for further discussion by club committee. Andy
  21. That was rather Belgian this morning. Great to see Charlie back again and looking lean too. Coffee and scone in lochwinnoch very welcome indeed. Thanks Charlie Andy
  22. Just as well we all have an inner coach when our external one says "if i can be bothered" Very excited this morning. Will Billy turn up? Will we choose strade bianche for George's beautiful cervelo? Will couttie bring a big fat muddy for the flying satsuma?
