  1. Hi Alan, My partner Dave and I are doing the 65 miles. We did it last year. Very challenging. We are camping. We can catch up if you want?
  2. We will meet you on the cycle path in BOW.
  3. Ferry over I presume, then? What is your planned route?
  4. Any chance there is a small pair of fingerless gloves and a small short sleeved jersey available? Ta much
  5. Carol, David, Ken, Elaine, Greig and I had a great ride. Some challenging climbs. Weather was great for it, albeit a bit cold at the onset. Goodie bag, you didn't miss anything believe me..... Glad you all had a great day.
  6. We have a Thule Euroride 141. We can access the tail gate without removing the bikes. Very impressive. We would certainly recommend this.
  7. I certainly would be up for it. Joined the 30 milers to improve, but unfortunately no training offered and not very organised when it comes to club rides.
  8. Hi Iain, One thing about the 30 milers is that there will always be support. Dave made sure she was not getting on that train at Stewarton. Susan was good company and she showed Dave and I how to get on to the cycle path at Kilbarchan, we have always taken the road from Howwood. She did exceptionally well considering it was a hilly route. Well done. Hope to see her soon....
  9. Completely agree with Carol. Great ride out and good company. We must do that run again. Total mileage for Dave and I was 41 miles and 2600ft of climbing. See you all soon
  10. Dave and I will meet you at the clubhouse 9.30am.
  11. Yeh, it was us. Traffic horrendous on the A737 with the road works at Glw Airport, so cycling in to the office in Glasgow as much as possible over the next 10 weeks. Not just a socialite after all.........
  12. Kay, I hope all is ok with you, take care. See you soon x
  13. Hi Jann, That's great. Enjoy your climbing. See you on Friday.
  14. Hi All, Wee reminder about the bowling. Friday 7.30pm at Xscape. For those who would like to eat before 9.30pm and the consensus is that would be a better idea. I would suggest we meet at 6pm. There is a Thai restaurant upstairs that we could book. I will need numbers please. See you all soon.....
  15. Oops should have said around 2.15pm.....
  16. Spied a wheeler yesterday, outside The Mint Hotel by the squinty bridge.
  17. Hi folks, bowling booked. Friday 9th March. 2 games, works out at 11.00 each. I have paid it up front as booking had to be made on line. Lanes booked for 7.30. See you all soon.
  18. Hi Margaret, of course. Should be a good night. I meant to organise today but we have been so busy, I will organise tomorrow. See you soon.
  19. Well done, you finally organised your Xmas night out. Amazing! Hope you all had a good night. Merry Christmas
  20. Great news, will confirm with Xscape and post times etc later today.
  21. Hello there, Seems we have 10 up for the bowling on Friday 9th March. I will book the lanes. If more want to come along, great, just let me know. See you soon
  22. How does Friday 9th March suit? A couple of games and then some 'healthy' eats? Sound like a plan? Let me know and I will organise. Brian is also joining us. Greig, have you changed your mind. It would be nice to have you both join us. You never know you may win the trophy! Should be good fun.
  23. Yes, yes all very interesting indeed..... Social nights do not always entail copious amounts of alcohol. Some of us 30 milers do not drink at all. I for one can have a good night on the soft drinks. You have put you point forward eloquently. So I take it, it is a no from you. Enjoy the rest of your day. Don't fall off your turbo trainer and enjoy playing with the big boys. Luv and hugs
