a cx bike would be hard pushed on the decents as most use full sus bikes, however if you want to go we will have 2 bikes going and it will be a relay so you could use one of the bikes. the event runs from 12 noon sat till 1pm sun. It only runs once a year, so give it a go.

well thats the final places in, i have gone to 103rd overall and 6th in the senior vet cat.i moved down because some of my time sections, mostly the technical decents. so although i passed the line in 82nd place i move down because i am a crap decender over the technical stuff.in my defense its only about my 4rth time on my mtn bike this year and i am on a hard tail and 99% of the others are on full sus bikes.good blast though, will be faster next year.

did this event yesturday still buzzing looks like I came 82nd out of 400. Still to see how I did in S Vets Class results not up, but should have donew ok. 40 miles in 6 hours 5 mins does not seem fast but very tiring.
Iain.
i was going to meet up and cycle down, however looking at the weather i will drive down as just recovering from the cold and a bad case of denial that the winter is here. looking to get the 12ocl ferry with you
