Good run today of about 40 miles,in splendid weather and company. A few quick climbs to keep the muscles warm and a welcome cafe stop at the Cannie Man after finding all doors closed at Stewarton. It would appear Rendezvous Cafe in Kilmaurs is the only pit stop opened on a Sunday morning in this area and well worth a visit. Hope to be out next Sunday for more of the same. dave and Carol.

Group of 12 covered 36miles this morning via Erskine,Bish,Gleddoch,Port Glasgow,Clune Brae,Auchenfoil Road and then road divert back towards Kilmacolm where group split for cafe stop. Couple of newbies including first timer Gary. Not as hilly as last week, but felt like it in places. Well done all and thanks to Ken for route. As discussed at cafe, the new sportive for next year is Sunday 15th April on thescottishbikeshow.com. 65m and 100m routes starting at Balloch Castle. Dave & Carol
