  16. Good urban run today. Traffic light at that time of the morning and tight compact group avoids any problems,and good to meet up with the splinter group at the cafe, which has now been claimed by the 30milers and they have a certificate to prove it thanks to Greig. Dave & Carol

  19. Bad luck with the puncture Ewan. We did wait a few minutes after 9.00 then headed up the Bowfield and on to Kilmaurs. Good pace and a few good inclines have resulted in a more knackered feeling than invisaged. Maybe the heat of the sun got to us !! Good run with no mishaps. Thanks to all. Dave & Carol

  21. Yeh, forecast hopefully dry and calm for Sunday trip to deepest Ayrshire. Coffee stop at Kilmaurs, Rendezvous Cafe, and then duelling banjoes on way home. Dave & Carol
  22. Good longish flat run yesterday in the heavy rain at times., requiring some of us to disguard with items of soaked clothing. I thought Michael Fish was part of the bunch in places as forecast was way off, but we battled on bravely with usual humour. Bit more of a hilly run next week. Dave & Carol
