  1. No thread for this, so here y'go! Who's in? I'll be there, Mark you up for reprising last weeks successful team?
  2. Not unless you know something I don't
  3. That's me entered! Hopefully my TT helmet should turn up by then!
  4. Ta for timekeeping Billy. Bee stings to the crotch are clearly the future of doping!
  5. I'll be along. I'm unpartnered at present, but happy to ride by myself with Hartside looming!
  6. I'm in. Can whoever brought that headwind last week leave it at home please?
  7. First proper ride for me post ribs... I'll get out on my own I think.
  8. Rabobank's Laurens Ten Dam is putting his whole Tour De France on Strava. That'll be a pain for a load of club cyclists across rural France!
  9. Was outside the shell garage on PRW, driver was.turning in and presumably not looking. Damage to me was some bust ribs, bruised shoulder, hip and knee. Damage to bike, another ergo lever! Think I did ok. 3 hours without seeing a doctor was enough, so home for dinner.
  10. Into my 3rd hour of waiting to be seen with some very sore ribs. Hacked off. Good rides all! Sorry to hijack the thread. Some goon pulled across me on the way home and I had no room to stop.
  11. Sorry I missed it, hit by car
  12. Mrs. Malcolm and I are off to a party on Sunday night and has been informed she must drink... Hence she can't take the car, she was going to leave it at Johnstone Station overnight and pick up on the monday afternoon, unless some kind sole on the the Scotrail network can let us park on their drive or outside their house overnight... Or just let us know her wee Kia will be ok at the station!
  13. I think an injury to my riding buddy's foot may have kyboshed the Bowland Badass for me so, not fancying 166 miles on my own, I'm heading down to Cumbria to ride the Whitton route. I know this was proposed a while back so I thought I'd see if any of you 'orrible lot could be persuaded. We'll kick off at the foot of Whinlatter, rather than traipse an extra 40 miles to Coniston and back so the route will be as follows (feel free to bikehike/mapmyride it at your leisure) Lorton Scale Hill Fangs Brow Croasedale Cold Fell Gosforth Irton Pike Hardknott Pass Wrynose Pass Coniston Hawkshead Hill Ambleside Kirkstone Pass Matterdale End A66 Keswick Borrowdale Honister Pass Newlands Pass Whinlatter Pass I'll even chuck in a lunch stop and a trip to the pub afterwards! Any takers?
  14. I rode home in that for an hour.... that was quite enough.
  15. Some guy from Brighton took my KOM on the section out of Greenock and down to Kilmacolm by 58s the other day. I may have to follow him, find out his favourite local ride and monster him on it!
  16. I'm in, what time and where?
  17. Anybody else out for this?
  18. Think I'll do the Time Trial instead...
  19. Great pics Colin! Any chance you could send on the ones of me for my library of vanity?

No mountains this year though, innit?
  21. I'm in... Straight from work, so may struggle on the transfer from Paisley Road West to Hillington!
  22. It's not easy is it? http://app.strava.com/activities/10498275# 840m on today's effort. Was slightly hindered by the road out the back of Lochwinnoch Golf Club turning into a stony track about halfway to the (google) advertised summit. Had to do a bit of thinking on my feet and add in the climb back over to Quarriers and the little lump between BoW and Kilbarchan a tour of housing estates in BoW. Irritatingly, I'd have monstered the KOM to Muirsheil if I hadn't have taken the little side road to gain 10 poxy meters.
  23. One for the "i'm glad nobody saw that" files... Coming out of our road and onto the bridge in Quarriers, I swerved a bit far to avoid a pothole and managed to drop my front wheel into the crack between the two slabs on the bridge. I had to let the front tyre down to unwedge it after I'd picked myself up. Then a car ran my specs over!
